Description
Padma captures the beauty and struggle of the lotus as it grows out of dirt through the juxtaposition of dark and bright colors. The name Padma derived from my grandmother is a representation of how the lotus is a common motif in my practice standing in as metaphor for the journey and resilience of women.

Life Cycle of a Pumpkin is A reflection on how it’s so hard to imagine how some things come to life. While we are focused on our daily problems there is so much happening around us.
This work is about looking to new beginnings and a more positive outlook. It reminds us to not only take a moment to think about the people and things around us but also share in their energy.
Peacocks symbolize so much more than beauty. they are the epitome of regality and as they stand out in their vivid colors, they teach one to be bold and speak out.
